Hey everyone! Eae here once again and this time we’re going to be finishing up X’s story for Mega Man X4! First up, of course, is the capsule rematch room.As I mentioned in the video, I do hope to one day do LP’s/Perfect Runs of Mega Man ZX. It’s my second favorite of the Mega Man series, so if I ever find a way to record DS games, I’ll definitely be covering both of them.
We then move on to Sigma himself. Sigma comes in 3 phases this time and the first two shouldn’t be too bad at all. His first form is him looking similar to the grim reaper with a scythe. You can only damage him with the Rising Fire, but he has a pretty easy pattern. Hit him twice when he appears, then move to the corner where he was to avoid his slice along the ground. The second phase, he tosses off his cloak. He’ll first launch his scythe at you in a circular motion. Simply go behind him to avoid the attack. His second attack is he’ll try to throw his scythe at you and then pull off two different moves. You want to jump in the air and lead the scythe to the wall, this will make it easier to dodge his attack where he sends lasers out from his eyes along the ground. This form is weak to the Lightning Web. His third and final phase actually has two health bars, one with his head and one with his body. He will rotate back and forth from attacking with both. When he uses his body, he will try to shoot at you with a laser. He will either try to aim it at you a few times, or if he says “The End!” he’ll …

@Bowserslave I don’t think he had a choice.

@bluex027
wow….
and he was all right with that? o.o
Comment by bluex027 on 23 November 2011:
@Bowserslave Well, his stage was originally clear blue water. So I’m guessing that when he came to Sigma’s palace, they couldn’t clean his water in space, so they just let him have it as it is.

@AtomicDandruff I use the keyboard for playing, so I didn’t remember what button and keybwas the alternative fire button. It’s also just a matter of habit I got used to with X4, using it for so long with X1-3. Feels awkward to me. And I never wanted to test against the spikes, so thanks.
Wasn’t sure.

Several things I feel compelled to say. 1) Why didn’t you keep Jet Stingray’s weapon equip and use the alternate buster fire button? It saves you time, as well as lets you run around in a different color scheme. 2) The spikes are NOT instant death, but they do hurt a lot.

I love X’s line near the end there.
“The world is going to be destroyed!”
“Oh. Darn.”
